James Warren (born January 5th 1985) is a singer-songwriter of Americana and folk rock based out of central Minnesota where he lives with his wife and daughter. Drawing inspiration from some of today’s Americana icons like Ryan Adams, Tyler Childers and Ryan Bingham, there are also strong influences from legendary artists like Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt. Nominated 3 times for the Best Original Artist in Central Minnesota, his EP Honest Man, was recorded at High Lonesome Studio in Joshua, CA with producer Chris Unck and released in the Spring of 2015
His latest single Bottles and Bones (March, 2021) is a haunting song with more introspective and poetic lyrics than we’ve heard before. Alongside local friends and fellow musicians this single was recorded in St. Cloud, MN at Mike Lardy Creative Studio. The music video was also filmed locally by long time friend Tony Sylvers with Aglow cinematics.
